This is a PC <-> Yaesu VX-1R converter. With Yaesu software you can edit your memories in your VX-1R. The only mistake which I made with PCB are the transistor layouts. Unfortunately, the pin layout is mirror in Motorolas BC848 (1k) and BC858 (3k) transistor than on my PCB. Therefore, these transistor has to be used as upsidedown. For example: Original layout: Attached transistor on my PCB: C C | | -------- turn transistor --------- | 1k | ---->>> | | -------- upsidedown --------- | | on | | B E the PCB E B The transistors are not critical. I know there is such a small signal SMT transistors which can be mounted directly on my PCB. If you can find such a transistors these are better fitted on my PCB. 73 de Petri OH4MVH
