RD58-koneissa on ollut ongelmia synteesin epästabiiliuden kanssa.
Ongelma ilmenee mm. rohinana vastaanotossa, vaikka signaali olisi
kuinka kova.

Ongelma johtuu synteesilevyllä S8D olevien konkkien hyytymisestä. 
Korjauksena vaihdetaan seuraavat konkat:

4,7nF kerko
C13,14,15,17,25,43,44,45,47   yht. 9 kpl

sekä

0,1uF tantaali  (vaihdetaan tilalle 100nF kerkot)
C16,18,19,20,21,23,24,46,48,49,59,52,53   yht. 13 kpl

There have been synthesizer instability problems in RD58 radios (UHF).
One symptom is scratchy RX audio even with strong signals.

The problem lies in aging capacitors on the S8D synthesizer board.
To cure the problem you have to change lots of capacitors:

4,7nF ceramic
C13,14,15,17,25,43,44,45,47   9 pcs.

and

0,1uF tantalum  (have to be substituted with 100nF ceramic)
C16,18,19,20,21,23,24,46,48,49,59,52,53   13 pcs.
